Dag Strömberg is a licensed speech-language pathologist, board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), MS in special education, doctoral student at the Department of Special Education, Stockholm University. He is a lecturer and course coordinator for the applied behavior analysis and autism courses at the Center of Neurodevelopmental Disorders at Karolinska Institutet (KIND), and president of the Swedish Association for Behavior Analysis.
For more than 25 years, he has worked within services for individuals with autism, intervening directly with children and caregivers and providing supervision and in-service training to staff members in preschools, schools, and habilitation centers. Dag is also involved in various international projects, mainly in France, Russia, and India. He is the author of three book chapters in two anthologies for parents of children with autism, published in Sweden in 2020 and 2022. Some of his interests include the use of behavioral strategies to enhance social interaction, sleep, communication, and challenging behavior in individuals with autism, as well as training of caregivers and professionals.
