“The International Conference for Autism” to be held by the “Birge ve Saghlam” Public Union is scheduled for April 23 through 25, 2025, in Baku.

The International Conference for Autism aims to deliver up-to-date information and experience about autism spectrum disorder for the Conference participants. It also aims to provide academics, researchers, teachers, therapists, students, and families on the spectrum to exchange their ideas regarding all facets of autism. Hence, this Conference is expected to be an excellent opportunity for you to meet the distinguished experts in the field, create an opportunity for networking and collaboration, and building international and interdisciplinary relationships. Since, invited speakers will conduct oral presentations and workshops during the Conference, call for paper is open for only poster submissions.

Information you will be asked to provide during the poster submission process is summarized below:

Poster title: The title should consist of a maximum of 12 words.

Poster topics: The possible poster topics are (a) features of ASD, (b) diagnosis and assessment, (c) genetic and environmental factors, (d) medical aspects of ASD, (e) evidence-based education and therapies, (f) early intervention programs, (g) school and inclusion programs, (h) adolescence and adulthood, (ı) housing and employment, (j) community living, (k) families and caregivers, (l) personnel training, (m) legal and administrative regulations, (n) advocacy activities, and (o) other developmental disabilities. In case your submission is not primarily related to any of the above listed topics, we ask you to select the most relevant one.

Poster type: It is possible to submit two types of posters: research posters and practice posters. A data-based research study either designed according to quantitative (descriptive, correlational, group/single-subject experimental, etc.) or qualitative methodology can be submitted as a research poster. Practice poster submissions are those aiming to introduce an intervention, program, service, etc.

Abstract: The abstract should be prepared as a 150-to-200-word long single paragraph. When necessary, up to five references can be cited throughout the abstract and the reference list should be added at the end.

Names and affiliations of the authors: Names and affiliations of each author of the proposed poster presentation should be entered starting with the primary author.

E-mail address of the corresponding author: Corresponding author is the author of the poster who takes the responsibility of submitting the poster proposal and informing his/her co-author(s) of the submission process.

Please send the prepared posters to konfrans@birgesaglam.az by March 1, 2025, with “Poster Presentation” in the subject line. Authors will be notified of poster acceptance or rejection by March 10, 2025.
